Explore integrated material handling solutions with Carolina Handling’s interactive, online experience

Those wanting an interactive, online experience to explore integrated solutions for achieving operational efficiency in manufacturing facilities, warehouses and distribution centers can visit Carolina Handling’s Intralogistics Constellation.

Designed to educate customers about Carolina Handling’s comprehensive material handling capabilities, the Intralogistics Constellation features 70 clickable touchpoints that reveal information on lift trucks, automated solutions, asset management, facility optimization, hazard notification, labor management, maintenance management, telematics, training and professional services such as design, engineering and KPI analysis.

The responsive web page is designed to work on touchscreen displays, mobile devices, iPads and tablets, allowing users to navigate through the constellation using the zoom, scroll and click features of a smart device. If viewing on a desktop, the mouse replaces the touch features.

“We continue to add intralogistics solutions partners to our portfolio as ongoing labor shortages and a tight warehouse market cause more companies to explore automated technologies and robotics,” said Carolina Handling Executive Vice President of Sales Mike Gainor. “Our Intralogistics Constellation tool gives us the ability to share information on the features and benefits of our comprehensive list of capabilities in an immersive way.”

As a consultative partner and a single-source provider of integrated material handling solutions, Carolina Handling offers design, engineering, implementation and service for systems that achieve more space, speed, safety and efficiency of operations, adds Joe Perkins, Carolina Handling Executive Vice President of Operations.

“More and more companies are turning to automation equipment and systems to optimize operations, eliminate wasteful steps and allocate the resources they have correctly,” Perkins said. “When our customers seek to automate a process, 99 percent of the time it’s not to eliminate a role. Oftentimes it creates a unique role within the facility.”

Carolina Handling’s Intralogistics Constellation is a first step in helping companies discover how they can maximize operational capabilities and the equipment they can use to achieve it.
